How Does FlipScreen Work?
The FlipScreen is a revolutionary screening and recycling attachment that is built for skid steers, excavators, wheel loaders and telehandlers. The FlipScreen is ideal for any type of recycling or recovery process where materials must be separated and screened to different sizes. This makes it perfect for industries such as construction, earthmoving, landscaping, demolition, contracting, waste recycling, steel recycling, plant hire and so on.
A bucket with a mesh sector on top is rotated to allow the finer particles of the bucket contents to be screened out. At the end of each revolution the contents are stopped by a baffle, which holds the contents until the bucket is further rotated, wherein the opening to the bucket is then facing upward. The contents then spill over the baffle and restart their journey around the mesh section of the bucket. This rotation is continued until the smaller particles have all been screened out. Rotating the bucket in the opposite direction then ejects the larger particles.
One of the many unique features of the FlipScreen is that changing mesh sizes to screen a different material or to a different size is extremely easy. Meshes can be changed with no tools by one man in just 5 minutes with a mesh aperture range from 10mm up to 200mm.
The FlipScreen's compact design means you can take it to any site to reduce waste disposal costs, landfill contributions, fuel costs and so forth and huge amounts of money will be made or saved by reselling or reusing the screened material.
The FlipScreen is basic in build and consists of high strength steel, hydraulic components, mesh or perforated metal, and standard earth contracting tools.
Advantages of FlipScreen
* It doesn't spill material
* It doesn't have interior moving parts
* It is robust
* It has the same scooping action as a standard bucket, and we would anticipate replacement of standard buckets by the FlipScreen in many instances
* It can be built to have the standard bucket capacity of any given machine or greater
* It is very gentle on machines to which it is fitted
* It is easy to operate, requiring no extraordinary operator skills
